Lose Weight by Eating Less the Proper Way

Do you remember what happened when you were a little kid and you ate too much food? You would have felt bloated and quite possibly made yourself sick. So we all know the stomach has a limit and if you go over that you're not going to feel too well for a few hours afterward. What do you think happens if you do this too often? That's right your stomach will stretch. The more you do it the less often you feel bloated and little by little you increase your ability to eat more and more food without getting sick.

This is one of the ways that you can become overweight and it can be taxing on the body and very unhealthy. Another way is to eat high-calorie foods and we'll get to that in a minute.
Most of us would agree that you can lose weight by eating less but does it really work? In the short term yes but what about the long term? Can you really expect to just keep starving yourself to keep the weight off?

There is no easy answer to this because there are a few different things that influence a good result.
It depends on how much you weigh and the kind of calories you consume. Calorie counting is an underlying factor to this but it's not completely necessary to reach success. The fact is if you start putting less food into your stomach every day you will cause your stomach to shrink over time. Once that happens you will feel fuller much faster at every meal you eat thus causing you to eat less food every day.

This can be hard to do though because there will be a long period of time where you will always feel very hungry until your stomach shrinks. However, this can be a very good way to alter your hunger pangs instead of getting stomach stapling surgery which can be dangerous. So who should do this and how long will it take. If you are chronically overeating then this may be a good thing for you to do. If you're not overeating and you still feel hungry then you may need to look at other factors.

Are you eating high-fat foods or sweet foods? These types of foods are high in calories so you could theoretically eat much more than your daily limit of calories and still feel somewhat hungry. In this case, it could be very easy to have a normal-sized stomach and eat too many calories and be overweight. It's also quite possible to eat only low-calorie foods and have an oversized stomach. If you were following a diet like this and suddenly started eating high-calorie foods again you could shoot your weight up more than you would like too.
